No, not snow yet :) The bit we had melted away pretty soon. This image is taken through a 0.3 mm polished silicon waffer that blocks visible but transmits IR. My old compact Canon Powershot 3G is sensitive in near-IR (no IR filters, in my mirror camera the IR is filtered away). Anyway - as typical for IR-photography you see quite bright foliage and grass that scatter strongly this range of wavelengths and comparatively dark sky.

My first IR
