This, naturally, is the case for the depicted model at the AHHAA Science Centre too. However, in 4D the intersection can be avoided. The thing glowing red is an anthill. A big one. And the photos hanging on the wall are marvellous macros of mold by Heikki Leis.

Aliens from hyperdimensions
